To create effective videos that embody different styles (conversational, inquiring, adversarial, confirmatory, explanatory etc.), it’s essential to align the type of the video  with the goal, audience, tone, and delivery method.

Below is a detailed guide on how to create each type of video, including their characteristics, best practices, and examples with the help of AI technology.

  1. Conversational Videos
  1. Definition: A video format that recreates a natural and colloquial dialogue between two or more people, often used to explore topics informally.
  2. Purpose: To humanise stories, explain complex topics, or showcase diverse viewpoints.

Techniques:

  1. Ensure the conversation conveys a genuine feel and not overly scripted.
  2. Avoid binary or closed questions which are normally answered by ‘yes’ or ‘no.’ Instead use open-ended questions to elicit detailed replies.

  2. Structure the inquiry logically to build a narrative.
  3. Adapt to the interaction based on interviewee responses.

  2. Carry interviews in neutral settings to pre-empt or reduce location bias.
  3. Integrate footage of related events or documents to provide context.
